Created by Savannah's 4th grade class in 2012, this quilt was auctioned to support their 5th grade camping trip. Each square represents a symbol of Washington State, designed and sewn by the students. Savannah’s square — an apple with red background — reflects both the state’s agricultural heritage and her own hand in the project. The quilting itself was guided by an experienced quilter whose expertise gave the piece a professional finish. A photograph sewn into the back shows the entire class holding their contributions, a snapshot of community and collaboration. I purchased the quilt at the silent auction, and it has hung in our entryway ever since, a daily reminder of her childhood, the Pullman community, and the shared effort of her classmates. Provenance: Purchased at silent auction, 2012, in support of 5th grade camping trip Value: FMV $300–$500; Replacement $800–$1,200
